Join us on the Lantern Parade through the parish at this year's Light Up Netley!
Saturday 30th November
The Lantern Parade will start at the Annunciation Church car park on Station Road which will be open from 4.30pm with the parade starting at 5pm - NO PARKING is available.
The parade will be led by the St Andrew's pipe band and will head down to Netley Library where we will sing a Christmas song before *switching on the tree and building lights.
We will then continue to the Netley Court Care Home where we will sing 3 Christmas songs to their residents with the Sing4Fun local group.
It will then continue along Victoria Road before finishing at St Edward's Church where the tree lights will be *switched on.
*We are looking forward to seeing all of the home made lanterns this year. As an extra incentive to (if one was required!), we will be randomly choosing 2 people who have made a lantern - one will press the button to switch the lights on at Netley Library and the other will do the same at St Edward's church.
The Annunciation Church will not have their toilets open or be serving refreshments, but St Edward's Church will.
