We would like to provide an update regarding the essential gas main replacement work taking place across Netley Abbey and wider area. These essential works involve the replacement of old metal gas pipes with new plastic pipes to ensure we can continue to provide a safe and efficient gas supply to the wider community.
 
We’re pleased to advise we are now in phase three, the final phase of this programme of work. Work has commenced on Woolston Road, for everyone safety multi-way lights will be in use as we progress. The planned completion date for phase three is 30 September 2024.
 
We appreciate temporary traffic lights can be disruptive for road users and the community, our engineers are working as quickly and as safely as possible to complete these works without delay.
