VACANCY FOR A COUNCILLOR
Parish Council of: HOUND
There is one vacancy on the above Council caused by:
Resignation of a Councillor
The Parish Council will fill the vacancies by co-option as no Bye- election was called
A vacancy has arisen for one Councillor and any person wishing to put themselves forward for co-option should apply in writing before 3rd July 2025 indicating why they would like to become a Parish Councillor.
In order to be eligible for co-option candidates must meet at least one the qualifications set out below and must not be disqualified under section 80 of the 1972 Government Act.

• You must be registered as a local government elector for the Parish of Hound.
• Or have during the whole of the twelve months preceding the date of co-option occupied as owner or tenant, land or others premises in the Parish.
• Or you have during the whole of the twelve months resided in the Parish or within 3 miles of it.

Candidates should indicate in their application which of the above qualifications is applicable to them.
