About Hound Parish Council

Hound Parish Council serves the parish situated to the south-east of the city of Southampton, uniquely flanked by the historic ruins of Netley Abbey and the expansive Royal Victoria Country Park. Comprised of 12 volunteer residents from Netley and Butlocks Heath, the Council is committed to creating a friendly and happy community with much to offer residents and visitors. We believe that to make a difference, you have to get involved. Our staff and volunteer councillors are deeply committed to delivering scheduled meetings, having not cancelled one in over five years, demonstrating our dedication to providing a platform for parishioners to voice issues and concerns.

The Role: 

Office Administrator / Administrative Assistant. This is a temporary, 6-month fixed-term contract designed to contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the council's office. You will provide vital administrative support to the Parish Clerk and their deputy, serving as a primary point of contact for both Parish Councillors and members of the public.
