Parish Office Opening Hours Update

15/7/2020

We are pleased to announce that we are working towards reopening the parish office 5 days per week, however to ensure that this can be done safely for all, we will be reopening on reduced days and hours to begin with. This will check that all of our measures are as robust as possible whilst making certain that we have reduced the risks to a level that is as safe as we are able to do so.

Therefore, we will be reopening on a Tuesday & Thursday between 9:30am and 1:00pm, beginning on Thursday 16th July.
This will be by appointment only which can be booked by calling 02380 453732 or emailing clerk@houndparishcouncil.gov.uk.

Please note that you MUST be wearing a face mask/covering (which you must provide) and will not be allowed entry without one.

We would ask that where possible, if your query/question or request could be dealt with over the phone or email, you continue to do so. This reduces the risk to all of spreading the virus.

Re-Opening of Parish Playgrounds

3/7/2020

We will be reopening our 3 play areas by 10am on Saturday 4th July in line with the recent Government Guidance. Signage has been placed in each play area reminding all users of the current guidance and we ask everyone to follow these.

Scientific advice suggests that the Covid-19 virus can survive for up to several days on some hard surfaces. This risks are reduced when outdoors, where surfaces may be subject to UV light and/or rain. While all possible practical measures have been put in place, the user of the equipment does so at their own choice and risk.

Playground Covid-19 Signage:
  • If the park is busy, please either queue outside of it (socially distancing) or come back later
  • One family members to accompany one child
  • Please retain the 2m distance from other users
  • To enable as many children as possible to use the equipment, please limit use to 3 minutes if busy
  • Priority to be given to those exiting the park over those entering
  • Parents/Guardians/Users are to bring hand sanitiser gel or wipes to clean their children's hands before and after play
  • Users advised not to touch their faces and to cough or sneeze into a tissue or their arm if a tissue is not available
  • Do not use the play area if you or someone in your household has a temperature or is feeling unwell
  • Consumption of food and drink with the park areas is not permitted
  • Please take your litter home

Outdoor Gym Equipment Covid-19 Signage:
  • Please retain the 2m distance from other users
  • To enable as many people as possible to use the equipment, please limit use to 30 minutes if busy
  • Parents/Guardians/Users are to bring hand sanitiser gel or wipes to wipe clean hands before and after play
  • Users advised not to touch their faces and to cough or sneeze into a tissue or their arm if a tissue is not available
  • Do not use the gym area if you or someone in your household has a temperature or is feeling unwell
  • Consumption of food and drink with the park areas is not permitted
  • Please take your litter home
