Hound Parish Council are pleased to announce that Lappset have been chosen by the public as the winner.

Hound Parish Council are nearing a decision to replace the play equipment on the Butlocks Heath Recreation Field behind Hound Parish Hall. We have now shortlisted the designs to the final 3 companies and are looking for all parishioners to vote for their favourite design. We have placed these online where we are looking for you to vote on your favourite and we will also be holding a walk in session where the 3 shortlisted companies and Hound Parish Councillors will be available to answer questions or queries at Hound Parish Hall on Saturday 27th April between 9.30am until 1pm. The aim is to have the new play area in place for the summer holidays and the designs and voting form can be accessed here - https://www.houndparishcouncil.gov.uk/butlocks-heath-recreation-field.html Please see below the details of a temporary closure of Victoria Road, Netley to allow for the Netley Scouts St Georges Day parade and Scout Ceremony.
Victoria Road from Royal Victoria Country Park to Netley Abbey Period of Closure: Sunday 28th April 2019, the above roads will only be closed whilst the procession passes from approximately 1400 to 1440 hrs and return of parade 1530 to 1545 hrs. The meeting is at Hound Parish Hall starting at 7pm. https://www.houndparishcouncil.gov.uk/meetings.html We have been advised that the A3024 Bursledon Road between Windover Roundabout and the Botley Road junction will be closed for 2 weeks between 8pm & 6am from Monday 6th May until Monday 27th May. This will allow the carriageway resurfacing works to take place for the Taylor Wimpey development. The diversion signage will take vehicles via Botley Road, Portsmouth Road and Hamble Lane.
