On Thursday 2nd May (7am - 10pm) there will be parish elections in Hound.
There will also be borough elections for all areas, except Botley. Information for voters - key dates and deadlines We have been contacted to advise that a planning application will shortly be submitted to Eastleigh Borough Council (EBC) for twelve dwellings at the above site. A layout will be submitted as part of the planning application identifying the proposals. The proposed development will comprise eight 3 bedroom and four 2 bedroom dwellings with a mixture of house types, sizes and tenures. There will be ten private houses and two affordable dwellings (20% of the total) as required by EBC. The layout will include the siting of the dwellings as well as car parking and car ports. The proposal will also include a new vehicular access off Grange Road. The below leaflet is being delivered to properties in close proximity to the site. This refers local residents to our website (www.jezeph.co.uk) where further information will be available about the proposed development, together with a link to provide any comments about the plans before the application is submitted. Please do contact [email protected] with any feedback or questions.
Please see letters that have been sent by Eastleigh Borough Council to the residents who will be moving to the parish of either Burlsedon or Hamble as part of the Community Governance Review.
Planning application O/16/78014
We have been contacted Nova Planning who are acting on behalf of their clients, Stratland Estates who were granted outline planning permission in January 2018 for the land on the north side of Grange Road. Pursuant to that permission Stratland Estates are now preparing a Reserved Matters application, which will include details of layout, scale of the buildings, external appearance, means of access and landscaping. To inform this Reserved Matters application and satisfy the conditions of the Outline permission, further survey work and site investigation is required. We have been advised that over the coming weeks their team of consultants will be present on site undertaking further survey work. In some instances this further work will require machinery to be present on site, including excavators. Therefore, they wanted to take this opportunity to explain that these works are entirely in accordance with the requirements of the Outline permission and do not signal the start of any construction works on site. In accordance with best practice this work will be undertaken during usual working hours and in a neighbourly way to minimise any disruption or nuisance to local residents. In due course they intend to present the draft Reserved Matters proposal to Hound Parish Council for our initial feedback and in addition, they will also host a public exhibition to give the widest possible section of the local community an opportunity to see the proposals and ask questions before a submission is made to Eastleigh Borough Council. Should any local residents have questions about the works on site over the coming weeks then please do not hesitate to contact Nova Planning who would be happy to explain the scope of works in more detail.
