Work is due to begin on Wednesday 24th November to the field behind Hound Burial Ground. 

The field has been granted planning permission to become the new section of the burial ground and the hard landscaping to install the extension of the road from the current burial ground into the field will begin. Works should take between 4-6 weeks weather dependent and Wren Building Contractors Ltd will be undertaking the works. 

Once the hard landscaping has been completed, we will begin work with the Tree Council on planting 1200 native hedgerow whips and 52 trees. We will plan to hold one or more public planting days and will provide information on these closer to the time.
